Summer League is played on Tuesday nights in July.  All
summer league matches are at the GLC.

Benet Volleyball on...
The 2008 volleyball team is honored to win the
AVCA Team Academic Award.   This is the team's
second academic award this season as the team
also won the IHSA Team Academic Award.

  • Varsity team wins second consecutive Sectional Championship!  Benet
    defeated Hinsdale Central 25-23, 25-20 to make it to the "Elite Eight"!

  • Varsity team wins third consecutive regional championship.   The
    Redwings defeated Naperville Central 25-22, 25-8.

  • Benet varsity wins Benet Invite for the third year in a row.

  • Varisty team goes 4-1 and takes 5th place in the 24 team Glenbard East
    Autumnfest Tournament

  • Freshman team earns a second place finish at the Neuqua Valley
    freshman tournament.

  • Sophomore team goes undefeated and wins the Prairie Ridge JV
    Tournament!

  • Varsity team goes 5-0 and wins the 24 team Wheaton Classic for the
    second year in a row!

  • Sophomore team goes 5-0 and wins Lockport Tournament!

  • Freshman team goes 4-1 and finishes 2nd at Lockport Tournament.

  • Freshman team goes 5-0 and wins Batavia Tournament!

  • Frosh/Soph team goes 5-0 and wins Waubonsie Valley JV Tournament!

  • JV team goes 4-1 and takes 3rd at Resurrection Varsity Tournament.


  • Varsity team goes 4-1 and finishes 2nd at the Willowbrook Tournament.

Congratulations to the 2009 team members for going 35-5, winning the Benet Invite,
Wheaton Classic Invite, a Regional and Sectional Championship and making it to the
"Elite Eight" in state!
